Pleasure Beach stays open in the rain: the park's rules only mention thunderstorms and high winds, when some rides don't run. Rides may also stop mid-operation, which the park says simply means its safety systems are working. The park lists five dark rides: Valhalla, Ghost Train, Alice in Wonderland, Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic and River Caves.

Getting to Blackpool Pleasure Beach
By car: Leave the M6 at junction 32, take the M55 to Blackpool, then follow signs for South Shore (via Blackpool Airport) and the brown tourist signs for Pleasure Beach; the park has three car parks, from £15 (East and West) or £18 (North).
By public transport: Regular trains run to Blackpool North, and services via Preston go direct to Blackpool Pleasure Beach station; the tram stops just outside the entrance.
